5. Padstow This trail has a few little walks in it and I am afraid that there was no way to avoid them as the ‘clues’ were just too good to miss. If you cannot walk for about a total of 3 miles (3 clues have bits of walking – two would be for about 1 mile) then I strongly advise to choose another trail. But if you can then you are in for a treat. The first ‘clue’ just amused me because I liked the sing song sound of the words and I am sure that the gentleman named in ‘clue’ 3 would have appreciated that, he certainly loved Cornwall. Most of the routes have something to eat, something to pat and something to learn. You certainly can’t pat them this time but they are still cute and fluffy! One of the coast roads on this trail is a cracker and I want to thank Hayley for all her input, she was a mine of information! The ‘clue’ is weak but the view to get to it is breathtaking, and that is what these trails are all about: the getting there. And when you get to Dave in Bude, say ‘hello’ to him from me and enjoy your sweeties!
